We are looking for a trainee Finance Associate to join our Finance team, who act as a shared service to the variety of companies that recognise The Fresh Produce Centre as their home.

The purpose of this role is to support both financial and management accounting in the business, getting involved in how the business works and translating it into financial results through the preparation of management accounts.

You’ll be responsible for cash management, budgeting, fiscal reporting, fixed assets and identifying risks, opportunities and trends.

It’ll be within your remit to provide financial control through balance sheet ownership and you’ll also support our management accounts team by processing monthly accruals and prepayments.

You will also have the opportunity to get involved in year end and support other Finance team leaders to complete the annual budget process, balance sheets and cashflows.

Our perfect Finance Associate would be:

AAT qualified (desirable) seeking to study ACCA or CIMA
Familiar with working in a financial accounting environment
Proficient in the use of MS Packages (Excel, Word)
Familiar with using SAP (desirable)
Highly organised, with the ability to work under pressure without compromising attention to detail
An excellent communicator
Flexible, innovative and easily adaptable to change
