Eurotunnel manages, maintains and operates the Channel Tunnel Fixed Link Concession between Folkestone and Coquelles, France. Opened on 6 May 1994, the Fixed Link is a rolling motorway which transports passenger and commercial freight vehicles on board Shuttles across the Channel at 140kph, in 35 minutes. It also allows the running of third party passenger and railfreight trains. The advantages of the Channel Tunnel are security, reliability, speed, frequency and respect for the environment.

Eurotunnel is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join its Maintenance Planning department. Working at our terminal in Folkestone you will be part of a team employed to coordinate the maintenance operations programs on both railway and non-railway installations in accordance with procedures, commercial strategy and safety quality and environmental standards.

You will have a good standard of general education and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a planning or logistics role. An understanding of tunnel infrastructure and maintenance activities would be an advantage.

The ability to work in an English/French bi-national environment is essential. A good understanding of the French language is desirable, with an emphasis on reading skills for reviewing technical documentation written in French.
