CATS Canterbury is an independent international college catering for approximately 500 students from age 14 upwards and staff, three times a day, seven days a week. The role is for 40 hours per week, every other weekend off. Earliest start 7am, latest finish 8pm.
The job role is to assist the chefs, washing of all pots, pans, cutlery and other kitchen utensils, ensuring there is a steady flow of clean plates and utensils for students and chefs to use respectively throughout each sitting. Preparing and Keeping canteen area and seating areas clean and tidy throughout service, collecting trays, replenishing salad bars etc where necessary. Health and safety awareness and knowledge is essential.
You Need to be a strong team player, a strong service ethic, have a can do, positive, energetic attitude and have strong attention to detail.
Previous kitchen experience is desirable but not essential, your attitude is more important!
We are offering £17,264 per annum and the position will start as soon as possible. We will be interviewing as applications come in
The role would be subject to satisfactory references, visa if required and a satisfactory DBS check.
You will be required to complete an application form if you are invited for interview.
