This FTSE 250 insurer is seeking a heavy-weight Senior Java & Guidewire Developer to play a lead role in it's large and experienced development team. You'll be joining a business with an enviable track record that's pouring resources into technology.

While the business is in the midst of a digital transformation scheme, the current situation has accelerated it. You'll be joining a team working on business-critical projects, working with modern technologies to improve the firms capabilities. It's exciting work - they're pivoting from an insurance business to an insuretech firm, and this team is right at the centre of it.

This role will suit an experienced Senior Java Developer with demonstrable hands-on experience in Guidewire within a large and complex organisation. The team is full of talented Software Engineers but they rely on 3rd party partners too much when it comes to Guidewire - the business wants to bring this inhouse and retain the expertise in the team.

This is a very high profile role with ample room to grow your skills and reputation. You'll be a key senior engineer in a business that is all about technology. You'll be an influential stakeholder, helping to shape and implement the road map of a major insurer that still has plenty of room to grow.
