Exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join an established local organisation. You have a minimum of 5 years HR experience and be CIPD Level 5 or 7. You must have some experience of line managing staff. The role is for a 6 months and requires someone who will commit to that timeframe. You will be responsible for managing the operational HR function and providing a range of services to the organisations managers and staff. Experience of working on large projects are a distinct advantage.
Duties
- To provide HR services, personally and through the HRBP`s, that meet the needs of the business, its directors, managers and employees
- To provide support and guidance in line with best practice in the transition to an agile working workforce
- To review continuously employment legislation, policies, practices and standards in order to ensure professional and effective services are provided relating to equal opportunities, compliance with legal obligations and good practice
- To provide advice on employment practice and legislation, and the consistent interpretation of HR policies and terms & conditions to managers and employees.
- Working with colleagues to provide a range of management and HR-related development courses and cultural and behavioural change programmes to ensure our managers are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to lead employees and deliver HR policies in a consistent and fair way
- Translating people performance metrics and analytics into information that senior leaders can use to drive business performance
- Continuously review our employment practices ensuring diversity & inclusion plans are in place, which not only meet our statutory obligations, but support our talent management and succession planning aims.
Salary £40 - £45,000 plus benefits
