Group Reporting Associate| Kent - Remote working | £40K
Our client, a large international product-based business, is seeking to appoint a talented Group Reporting Associate to support the Group Reporting Manager and ensure accurate consolidated financial information. You will work closely with the with the Group Finance team and Group Reporting Analyst.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist the Group Reporting Analyst with the maintenance and preparation of the Group lease accounting entries (both under IFRS and US GAAP), with responsibility for:
• Reviewing lease documentation submitted by European entities.
• Liaising with all European entities to ensure accuracy and completeness of information submitted.
• Completing technical accounting documentation to support the accounting treatment of each lease.
• Liaising with all European entities to ensure the journals are booked accurately in their local ERPs.
• Liaising with the Group FSR/Reporting team to ensure data is correctly reported in the Group consolidation tool and that US GAAP adjustments are correctly reported.
• Ensuring year end disclosures in the statutory accounts are accurate.
• Support the Group Reporting Manager and Group Reporting Analyst with ad-hoc period end requirements.
• Prepare the exceptional items analysis, collect backup and consolidate for Europe.
• Maintain and process the intercompany recharges between Europe and Corporate and perform intercompany matching within the European Group.
• Liaise with other European entities regarding any recharges that need to be made to/from US.
• Assist the Group Reporting Manager and Group Reporting Analyst in the preparation of the UK statutory accounts.
• Prepare the Group balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis.
• Liaise with external auditors where required.
• Prepare and submit National Statistics surveys.
• Submit statutory accounts to third party provider for iXBRL tagging and review resulting tagging.
• Assist the Group Reporting Manager and Group Reporting Analyst in the maintenance of the group finance manual.
Candidate Profile
• AAT qualified or part qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA.
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Very high level of accuracy & attention to detail required.
• Strong communication skills.
