Management Accountant job in West Kent £35k-£45k. All round experience looking to grow/develop within business

Your new company
You will be working for an established organisation that due to growth are building a hub in the Kent area. The Management Accountant job has become available due to an internal movement. At present they are working remotely, however the plan is to be back working in the office full time after lockdown. They may consider 1 day working from home once settled. So will require someone in the local area. The working hours are 9 to 6 with 1 hour for lunch. They are looking for someone to take ownership of the finances and grow and develop the office in West Kent.

Your new role
You will be responsible for all aspects of accounts processing and ledger closing, including all balance sheet reconciliations - accruals, prepayments, VAT control, PAYE control and inter-company reconciliations. You will preparing monthly management accounts, support with forecasting, budgeting and business planning processes. You will assist in driving change programmes, such as system improvements or system changes in the Finance function. You will prepare statutory accounts as well as corporation tax, VAT and PAYE. You will manage annual audit fieldwork process - liaising internally with heads of business and externally with auditors
You will take on other ad-hoc administrative tasks as required

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a hard-working, ambitious and hands-on Management Accountant to lead the finance function. You will be at least ACCA, CIMA or ACA Part-Qualified. You will have strong technical, commercial, communication and presenting skills. You will be keen for a step up in a fast-paced professional services environment.
