IT Security Engineer - Financial Services - Chatham. No financial services experience needed! A leading financial services organisation are urgently looking for an IT Security Engineer for their Chatham office. The IT Security Engineer will work as a Subject Matter Expert by leveraging your SME knowledge of industry best practices, cyber security, security design principles and risk management to lead concurrent security work-stream activities for business and IT projects as well as designing and delivering corporate IT security services and solutions.



The IT Security Engineer will be responsible for;



* Configuring, implementing and maintain enterprise class security systems and services to mitigate current and emerging threats
* Defining and maintaining security standards and key controls
* Acting as an escalation point for the investigation of security events and incidents
* Conducting research on emerging threats
* Driving the continuous improvement of security technologies and services



The successful IT Security Engineer will have;



* Strong experience in an IT Security related position
* Knowledge/experience of any of these areas: Endpoint protection, network security, application security, web security, cloud computing, PCI DSS
