Quality Control Technician

Covering Plants in Kent and East Sussex
Competitive salary plus contributory pension scheme, company van.

THE ROLE
• Following a recent retirement, we are looking to recruit a Quality Control Technician to test and make concrete samples from a number of plants in the Kent/East Sussex area on a daily basis to ensure compliance with industry test rates.
• Communicating with staff from both the technical and operations departments and customer representatives on site.
• Able to travel to Brett Concrete plants and /or customer site supplied by Brett Concrete plants and complete various tests on concrete samples.
• To be able to use Microsoft Excel, Access, Word and Outlook.

THE REQUIREMENTS
• Construction industry experience would be an advantage.
• Qualifications in chemistry, geology, a construction related subject or concrete technology would be beneficial but full training will be provided.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to demonstrate an ability to generate beneficial long term relationships.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety practices.
• Self-motivated, reliable individuals who are capable of working on their own initiative.
• Full driving licence.
