My Client, a Manufacturing company with a worldwide reputation for producing a specialist product for over 50 years, is now looking to recruit a Craftsperson / General Maintenance person with some experience of general maintenance and repair.
The Role: Craftsperson / General Maintenance person
Work as part of the Engineering team carrying out essential site maintenance.
Repair of buildings and site structures as identified through the Lead Mechanical technician.
This could involve basic engineering techniques, carpentry and painting and decorating.
Daily lubrication of the machinery and related equipment.
Skills / Qualification / Experience: Craftsperson / General Maintenance person
Formal training in a maintenance discipline or evidence of good DIY skills environment and to include: Basic Maintenance skills
Carpentry skills
Painting and decorating
Clean driving License
Self motivated
Safety conscious
Capable of working alone and managing work load
Happy to work indoors and outdoors
Team player
You may also be required to take part in training activities as appropriate and to assist with other maintenance tasks for which you are trained or have the capability and competence to be involved.
Monday to Friday - 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
