Hydraulic and Engineering Services Ltd is a versatile engineering company specialising in the repair, supply and manufacture of hydraulic cylinders and associated hydraulic equipment relating to machinery, mobile plant, cranes, marine, recycling and many other industrial areas.
We also undertake all general engineering and manufacturing as well as reclamation repairs.
Our engineering team cover a range of disciplines including diagnostic work, new installations, removal and re-installations of components, upgrades, renewals, hose replacement service, and system monitoring.
We are a privately owned company operating within our 30th year with a wealth of experience within the industry through our team of engineers; currently employing 28 personnel across the range of disciplines we operate in.
We are looking to employ a mechanical cylinder fitter to work on our fitting bench carrying out service, new builds and repairs within our factory.
The person we are looking for should be able to add quality to our team; they will be able to work well on their own initiative or as part of a vibrant team in a growing business and be flexible to work with the company as required.

Hours of Work:
Basic 40hr week
Starting salary depending on experience
Overtime on an as and when basis paid at 1.5 x and 2x hourly rate
Your main responsibilities will include:
You will be responsible for performing repairs on hydraulic equipment
Trouble- shooting equipment malfunctions.
Building new equipment to engineering drawing's
Completing appropriate documentation.
Complete all necessary inspections as required.
The person we are looking for:
City and Guilds, Or NVQ Equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
Experience with Practical Hydraulic, systems preferred, however full product training will be given
Good grasp of the English language (verbal and written)
Strong interpersonal skills
Committed to safety
Willingness to work extra hours
