ACCOUNT ADVISOR - £35,000 - £40,000
Based in the city with up to 4 days a week from home
This is an exciting position which has been created to work on an increased level of new business and renewals in the PI team. It is a great opportunity for an Account Handler to develop their skills and broaden their knowledge as part of a successful team in an expanding company.

The focus of this role will be to service and administer new and existing clients within the PI market.

*To maintain and develop relationships through the delivery of excellent service, technical knowledge, and expertise.
*Work on new and existing business, and renewals within the PI team by responding promptly to intermediary queries.
*Ensure intermediaries are aware of the policy cover, terms and conditions and claims protocol and reasonably ensure that the client understands the effect of breach of conditions or requirements.
*Respond to all mid-term policy queries and issue endorsements where appropriate.
*Give instruction and relay and concerns to insurance providers or the Broking department.
*Ensuring all internal systems and documentation are maintained.

*You will have experience working in the insurance industry, ideally within PI.
*You will be a confident written and verbal communicator with the ability to build relationships with, and influence the decision making of a portfolio of clients and insurers.
*You will understand and adhere to FCA regulation and keep up to date with any changes.
*You will have experience working with Microsoft Excel and database systems and understand the importance of keeping documentation and systems up to date.
