We’ve got a great opportunity for someone to join us as Property & Facilities Manager, Reporting to the Strategy, Transformation & Efficiency Director, you’ll own the strategy for office provision, maintenance and improvements. Managing a multi-site team you’ll lead the Facilities and Post Room function across all sites.

In this challenging and rewarding role you’ll provide facilities management services that are effective, represent good value for money and ensure a safe and secure environment for all our colleagues and visitors.

As well as managing a small team, you’ll need to develop excellent working relationships across the organisation to enhance your service delivery and ensure strategic and operational planning and organisation of resources for all aspects of Facilities and Post Room functions.

A fantastic role, perfect for someone looking to expand their experience within a busy and fast paced environment. In your day to day role you will:

• Provide strategic leadership and management of a multi-discipline team covering two main functions, Facilities and Post Room. Ensuring that the necessary skills and competency levels are in place, developed or acquired and that a strong service ethos is inculcated and maintained.
• Accountable for the efficient provision of VBL centered services for estate planning, management and facility support. Ensuring property assets and related physical resources are capable of supporting the business needs of the bank, safely, effectively and efficiently.
• Define and manage the Facilities budget and develop strategic relationships with suppliers to deliver best value.
• Establish and maintain service level agreements with all facilities related service providers and ensure that the suppliers are effectively managed in accordance with the Procurement Supplier Management framework
• Identify & manage supply chain risk, identify alternative suppliers and take appropriate action to mitigate risk events
• Manage and co-ordinate major projects, programmes or reactive and PPM including the management and analysis of space utilisation, environmental projects and H&S related projects.
• Full MI reporting on people, H&S, environmental impact, budgetary spends and incident management and utilise the MI to analyse and drive performance of the department.

• Detailed knowledge of the legislation that underpins occupancy of property and utilisation of technical skills to obtain competitive advantage.
• Previous management experience within a Property or Facilities Management function or similar environments.
• A skilled and experienced manager with the ability to lead and motivate a team with desire to provide exceptional customer service.
• Ability to use initiative and identify issues regarding potential risks or detriment that could impact our customers and where appropriate have the confidence to raise these issues with your manage.
• Ability to provide customers with the best possible outcome through demonstrating a customer focused approach to the way you work.
• Analytical Skills. Ability to define and present business cases based on evidence.
• Strong influencing and communication skills and the ability to communicate with people at all levels of an organisation.
