Continental shift pattern consisting of 2 x 12 hour days, 2 x 12 hour night and 4 days off.

Salary: £11.24 per hour (basic of £8.99 + 25% shift premium)

My client provides shrink sleeve labels, self-adhesive labels, spouted pouches, and packaging machinery on a global scale. Utilizing the technology and capabilities of the Group, we provide total packaging solutions to meet our customers’ needs in a wide range of areas, such as food, beverages, dairy, home & personal care and pharmaceutical products.
They are seeking motivated individuals for both our Print and Finishing Departments. The role will involve utilising the production machinery and equipment in the most efficient way to produce our packaging product that conforms to requirements and customer deadlines are met. The machinery and surrounding areas are to be kept clean and tidy and 5S strategy adhered to.
You should have excellent communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and able to work well within a team. Good troubleshooting and problem solving skills are needed.

Previous experience in Printing or Finishing is not essential however a background in a production or manufacturing environment with a knowledge of machine operation is a pre-requisite. Good numeracy and literacy skills are also needed to interpret documentation
