Hays M&E are currently working in partnership with a company based in East Essex who are looking to recruit a full time, permanent Inspection Engineer to join them as soon as possible.

The company is an independent bulk liquid storage provider formed in 2016. They have 4 terminals which operate out of 4 ports in the UK. Due to expansion, the company are looking to recruit an Inspection Engineer to join them in their Essex site on a permanent basis.

Requirements for the Inspection Engineer role -

Ensure engineering and maintenance procedures are followed Manage maintenance activities relating to tanks and pipelines to ensure plant availability and safety Manage the CMMS system and ensure work is completed within the required time frame Coordinate with third parties and other departments for planning of maintenance activities Source and precure all consumables, spares, and equipment About you - ONC/HNC, engineering degree qualification or similar Experience within process, chemical or petrochemical and COMAH sites Qualifications relating to inspection of pipes and tanks e.g. API570, API 653, EMMUA 159 would be desirable but training can be provided Good health and safety awareness Risk Assessments and method statements
