Administrator (Customs Processing)
Tenterden, Kent

KHR is working with a rapidly growing business based in Tenterden that offers an extensive and complete range of Customs and Duty Management services to a diverse customer base. Continued and planned growth means the business has a need for Administrators to join their team.

The team work Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours per week shifts include 8am - 4.30pm or 8.30am - 5pm (60 minutes unpaid lunch break).

Starting salary for this role is £18,500pa; benefits include 28 days holiday (including bank holidays), an additional 5 'Duvet Days' paid leave to be taken to cover sickness or sporadic days off, statutory pension scheme, free onsite parking, numerous social events, training and progression.

The role is heavily computer based, you will be processing, inputting, and checking a vast amount of data that requires 100% accuracy and must be completed within a set timeframe. Duties will include:

- Acting as the first point of contact for customers, hauliers, and freight forwarders for any questions or queries they may have
- Daily use of the bespoke in-house system - full training will be given
- Daily use of MS Excel to input vast amounts of data
- Submitting import declarations to HM Revenue and Customs
- Working accurately and at pace to meet monthly deadlines
- Adhoc administrative duties
