Machine Operator

Mid Kent

£20,500 + night shift allowance where applicable

Days and Nights (4 on 4 off)



My client, a successful and established organisation are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Machine Operator to join their thriving team on a permanent basis.



The ideal candidate will be hardworking and fully computer literate, with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to prioritise a busy workload! You will be flexible and must be able to work the shift pattern detailed above!



Duties include:

* To carry out pre-checks and cleaning tasks of the production line before production start-up
* Set the machine to production recipes
* Preparing raw materials for production
* Replenishing packaging to the production line during the shift including the stacking of trays
* Set up batches of production as per the production plan
* QA quality checks and CCP's
* Manual handling including the stacking of finished goods
* Resolve machines stoppages
* Maintain health and safety and adhere to health and safety policies and procedures at all times
* Help & assist in the training of others and identify own training needs
* Any other reasonable duties, responsibility or requests that may be issued by Management from time to time



The right candidate will have/be:

* A strong team player
* Experience working within the food industry preferable
* Experience of plant and machine operations
* Computer literate; MS Office
* Helpful, reliable, and confident
* Quick and methodical
* Health and safety awareness
* Flexible and proactive
