Plant Operative (Perm)
Shift work / 4 on & 4 off
6am - 6pm
£23,500

KHR is working with a market-leading company based in Aylesford who are looking for Permanent Plant Operatives to join their friendly and motivated team. You will work within a team environment and work towards company goals. You will also be willing to learn and develop your skills - in-house forklift training will be provided.

You will be responsible for the following:

*Unloading of vehicles and trailers
*Manoeuvring and weighing containers
*Check empty containers and clean ready for collection
*Co-ordinate paperwork
*Oversee safe handling
*Operate fork Lift truck if required
*To participate in plant shutdowns as necessary
*Maintain company operational records and data
*Inform management of any major defects, concerns, or problems with the equipment or building
*To work under the directions of and assist the Shift Supervisor and Plant Manager in his or her duties in the event of a breakdown or controlled stoppage
*Observe and comply with all safety notices and signs and ensure that all work is carried out in a safe and proper manner at all times
*Attend training courses specific to the job as required
*Additional duties as necessary to ensure safety compliance and continuation of operations of the plant
*Comply with company health & safety procedures
