We are working with a prominent College to recruit for Job Brokers in the Swale area The assignment is part of an exciting community funded project and is planned to be funded until the end of August 2022.

We are seeking an engaging and interactive candidates to join the Adult College team to deliver a range of employability related qualifications to people who are actively seeking employment.

The successful candidates will provide a job brokerage function for adults in the community and will work in partnership with Job Centre Plus, external agencies and employers to deliver qualifications that challenge attitudes and barriers to work. The aim of the role is to broker people into sustainable employment.

About You

We are looking for candidates with an ambition to make a difference in their local communities by providing outstanding teaching and learning and targeted support. Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous but not essential, although ideally you will have demonstrable experience of teaching and coaching/mentoring.

Key to your success in this role is to demonstrate the ability to build rapport, show empathy, motivate people and influence their perception, goal and next steps towards employment.

Hours can be either full or part time on a Monday to Friday basis. The role is subject to Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks.
