Claims Team Leader
Barker Munro Recruitment are proud to be working with this well-established insurance business based near Maidstone who are currently looking to add an experienced Claims Team Leader to their ranks.
As a Claims Team Leader in the business, you will be pivotal component within the operation being responsible for a team of insurance professionals. You will be able to demonstrate proven ability to lead and motivate your team alongside being well organised and conscious of your responsibilities to the team and their own daily work demands and professional development. You will be responsible for identifying and implementing training requirements , developing your team and staff morale, team performance, absence management and appraisals whilst also being able to offer some kind of technical insurance referral point.
Working within this award winning insurance business, you will have full responsibility of day to day management of the team, reporting into the Operations Manager.
To be considered for the role of Team Leader, you will be able to demonstrate previous experience within a customer service leadership capacity, ideally from within the Insurance or financial services industry. You will be able to show proven ability to develop and motivate team members whilst also being organised, diligent, conscientious and hardworking. The ability to deal with customers in a sympathetic but firm manner will be an excellent attribute to have alongside the ability to lead team members remotely.
The role will initially be based from the office with full training and then will be a split home/office setup. Therefore you should be comfortable with working from home but also being able to work in the office when the situation arises.
