DIVISION: Service Department
LOCATION: Rochester, Kent
JOB TITLE: Service Support Admin
REPORTABLE TO: Service Manager
HOURS: 40 hours Monday to Friday


We are looking for 2 confident and capable Service Support Administrators to join our expanding Service Department based in Rochester, Kent.

You will support the Service Manager and Service Contract Managers with the administration involved in working on long term service agreements within Data Centres, Banks, Prisons, Supermarkets, Hospitals and Utility companies for the servicing, repair, maintenance and overhaul of Diesel Generators.

The role will involve (but is not limited to):-

• Assisting Service Manager with allocation of engineers
• Assisting Service Manager with call out attendance
• Assisting Service Manager with call out rotas
• Assisting Service Manager sending job instructions to engineers
• Assisting Service Manager sending report sheets to clients
• Assisting Service Contract Managers in producing RAMS, remedial quotes and managing parts for jobs
• Liaising with engineers on a day to day basis
• Managing client portals
• Managing security/access passes for client sites
• Dealing with day to day client enquiries
• Ordering of fast moving parts for stock including the raising purchase orders
• Confirming parts have arrived on in house system
• Stock control including but not limited to batteries, oil, coolant, heaters
• Control of tools including calibration
• Management of waste disposal and waste notes
• Oil sampling reporting


To be successful in this role it is essential to have excellent customer and delivery focus and have the ability to communicate effectively using a wide range of media (verbally and written). You must be computer literate with the ability to input data quickly and accurately and have strong planning and organising skills.

Working as part of the Service team, you will be answering telephone enquiries and accessing computer records, so a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite is essential. Training will be given on internal software. You will have a flexible approach and willingness to expand your skills and knowledge as there are great opportunities to grow within the organisation.

Experience:
• A working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is essential
• Knowledge of engineering/generator industry would be desirable
• Ability to work on own initiative and work well within a team environment.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Hard working, good work ethic and approachable.
