Experienced Digital Printer Operator / Art worker required, able to adapt client supplied artwork ready for RIPing and printing on our specialist Wide Format Printers.
Essential skills:
- professional experience using Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat
- minimum two year professional art working experience
- email and file transfer
- confident working to numerical values, scale and resolutions
- confident talking with clients to solve artwork problems
- able to work in a team
- manual handling
Advantageous skills: not essential as in-house training supplied -
- operation of wide format printers
- knowledge of UV printing
- knowledge of Dye-Sublimation printing
- knowledge of Profile building
General requirements:
- the right to live and work in the UK
- Maths GCSE
- fluent in English
- well organised with good communication skills
- keen to help out in all departments
Prompt Side has been supplying bespoke drapery to the theatre and entertainment industry for over 30 years.
We print large images on to fabric, timber, acrylics and a range of other substrates for a variety of blue chip organisations.
This is a varied and challenging role and one not normally found in the traditional print industry.
Salary: up to £30,000 commensurate with experience
Statutory holiday entitlement including Bank Holidays
Probationary period of one month
