Our client is recruiting for their fantastic branded restaurants and conferencing facilities near Stansted Airport. Based in one of their huge well equipped kitchens you will be cooking food from fresh on a regularly changing menu.

Quality and speed of service are vital requirements for any Chef looking to join this kitchen brigade.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Demi Chef De Partie to join our Kitchen Team of 18 chefs and reporting to the Executive Head Chef, Sous Chefs and Chef De Parties. Chefs here work straight shifts 5 days per week, and always have two full days off. Due to the size of the team it is very rare that Chefs work more than 45 hours per week but will be paid over time if work over 45 hours per week.
This pivotal role is responsible for the efficient organization of a particular section, helping to support our 18 Conference & Banqueting suites that can cater for up to 700 delegates at a time. You will be responsible for assisting your Chef De Partie on stock control, and managing the Commis Chef whilst maintaining standards in food preparation, storage and wastage. Obviously we will help you to gain confidence on different sections during prep and service. You will be expected to be working towards becoming a Chef De Partie and then on up through the kitchen ranks.
