JOB TITLE: Production Supervisor
SCOPE:
To supervise the manufacture of electronic assemblies in a timely manner to meet customer deadlines.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
General standard of education required.
Experience of Supervising/Team leader is essential
Experience within electronic manufacturing environment – not essential but preferred.
IPC-A-610D Qualification preferred.
Leadership Qualification preferred.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
To be aware of company health and safety requirements.
To understand and implement necessary anti-static precautions.
To understand manufacturing documents and follow specific instructions.
To understand IPC (best practice) standards with regard to own area.
To supervise section operators to ensure work is completed in a timely manner to meet customer delivery requirements.
To plan work schedule and allocate jobs to appropriate operators.
To highlight any build discrepancies to Production Engineering.
To maintain and improve 5s in production areas.
To attend advise daily Production meetings and advise management of any delivery problems.
To attend weekly KPI meetings to investigate areas of concern.
To periodically attend weekly “continuous improvement meetings”
