You’ll be involved in the day-to-day manufacture of timber door frames, panelled doors, and other joinery components, working from drawings to produce accurate, high-quality products. The role involves setting up and operating woodworking machinery, assembling joinery, and maintaining a c ean, safe workspace as part of a skilled production team. We are currently recruiting Light Assembly Operatives for a long established manufacturing company based in Medway Towns. These are temporary positions however there may be opportunities for permanent employment for the right candidates. You must be able to handle small parts and carry out light mechanical assembly. Previous experience is advantageous but not essential as full training will e given. Ideally you will have experience of hand soldering/assembly. Successful candidates will have good communication skills, be able to follow written instructions and be a team player. You will be working a shift pattern of 06:00 - 14:00 and 14:00 - 22:00, Monday - Friday rotating each week, with a slightly early finish on a Friday, 39 hours per week.
