We are currently recruiting a Factory Operative to work within an engineering company to work nights on a permanent basis in the Medway area. You will have used small hand tools and be happy working in an industrialised environment. Your main duties will include: * Processing of parts as instructed * Filing of castings/moulded parts using hand grinding tools * Shot blasting * Manual H ndling * Moving boxes of castings around the factory and general housekeeping * Completing the relevant job cards You will be working 46 hours per week, 6.00pm to 6.00am, Monday to Thursday, however, initially you will be working the day shift for training purposes, 6.00am to 6.00pm, Monday to Thursday. £12.36 per hourly rate whilst training on days. £14.21 per hour after training for night shift. You will be working 08.45-17.00 Monday-Thursday and 09.00-16.00 Friday. The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 7:00am to finish. This is typically an 8 hour day but that can vary You will be required to undertake general cleaning duties, house clearance, garden waste, clearing of fly tippings, communal areas o the security side. You must have a manual driving licence due to the nature of the role and no more than 6 points for insurance purposes. Previous experience is desirable, however not essential as training will be provided.
