A highly successful company based in Medway Towns is looking to recruit Warehouse Operatives to work within the cold store. Your main duties: * Ensure products are picked accurately and in time to meet the customer dispatch schedule, ensuring picking targets are met, whilst maintaining the highest standards of accuracy. * Making sure the loading and unloading of the vehicles are done effi iently, accurately and in line with health and safety guidelines. * Have a good awareness of product availability and raise any concerns you have to your supervisor. * Make sure you are working in a safe environment. You will be working Saturday to Wednesday, 13:30 to 22.00 Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential. This role will involve assisting the driver deliver/collect medical equipment which has been returned from patients, clinics or hospitals. You will be required to help unload the vans with the driver when delivering to clients. * A 'Can-do attitude' * Able to work as part of a team * Able to follow instructions and procedures * Observant, with a keen attention for detail * Responsible when it comes to health and safety and hygiene * The role involves heavy lifting and you will need to have strong navigational skills. Your role will involve assisting the workshop section leader in all aspects of carrying out daily production tasks in a timely and efficient way, ensuring that client's needs and expectations are met. You will have e perience of working in a metal workshop environment. Experience of operating machine tools such as Press Brake, Guillotine, Rollers etc. would be advantageous however not essential as training will be provided.
