By opening their homes, Shared Lives Carers provide essential support to Adults with various needs, from learning disabilities, ASD, or Mental Health and dementia. Here are some key benefits for Carers: • Flexible and interesting job with a great work-life balance. • Opportunities for skills developmen while working as a self-employed professional with team support. • Competitive payment ranging from £350 to £643 per week, per placement, for long-term placements (with significant tax incentives). Currently, they are recruiting for Long Term and Short Breaks placements, so you'll need a spare bedroom. Here are the types of services you can offer: • Long term: The person lives with you and your family. • Short Breaks (respite): The person stays for a night, weekend, or week. • Day Support: Support someone from your home for up to 5 hours (not currently recruiting for this).
