Premises Maintenance Operative – Required for April 2025 We are looking for a committed and motivated Premises Maintenance Operative (Caretaker) to join our site team. This position will assist with the care of the academy premises, ranging from general maintenance duties including minor repair and refurbishment works, porterage and other duties, supporting the current team in ensuring the he lth and safety and security of the site. Applicants need to be trustworthy, reliable, hardworking, physically fit, conscientious, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Ideally you will have good DIY skills, basic plumbing experience would be an advantage as well as some knowledge of health and safety. Full induction will be provided, with the successful applicant initially shadowing the team/shifts until comfortable and trained in the site processes. Hours are 37 per week, however, as an employer who embraces flexible working, we are happy to accept applications from those also looking for part time or job share.
