We're currently recruiting for a Mental Health Employment Specialist to join our Love London Working programme at Clarion Futures.



Love London Working began in 2016 as a housing association partnership based in London seeking to progress those in long-term unemployment and economic inactivity into work. The programme has successfully supported 17,500 customers and helped over 5,500 into employment over the last 4 years.



This role will be the lead authority for all staff delivering Love London Working on issues relating to mental health and how this impacts on participant employability. You will prepare individuals for a return to work through assessing each person's individual employment needs through vocational profiling/assessment and refer the person to other support if they have particularly complex barriers. You will also support the rest of the LLW team to be able to provide industry leading support to programme participants.



Other responsibilities include:



* To network with London Mental Health trusts to ensure our provision incorporates industry best practice
* To will develop in-depth knowledge of the local labour market, local support and new initiatives, taking into account the needs of the client to broker effective interventions. Including specialist schemes to help with retaining or finding employment.
* To provide outreach services as necessary to individuals when they appear to disengage from the service.



In order to be successful in this role you'll already have a good working knowledge of mental health issues and will ideally have experience supporting those with mental health barriers to securing or sustaining employment. Excellent customer care skills, a working knowledge of databases and strong partnership and networking skills are also essential for the role.
