Role: Area Sales Manager
Location: Rainham, Essex
Salary: £52,000 per annum + Bonus + Competitive Benefits

KHR has an exciting opportunity for an Area Sales Manager to join a global market leader for products and services within the Construction and Engineering sectors.

This role would suit someone who has previous Sales and Marketing experience with exposure to the Maintenance and Construction industry.

Job Description:
- Ongoing planning of prospects and customer meetings with participation in relevant marketing events such as webinars, trade fairs and seminars.
- Establish relationships with local partners where necessary to bring the company's vehicles to the market.
- Be up to date on customers, competitors and the market in allocated regions (market information)
- Continuously communicate, document and report market information.
- Register and update new project and market information into the company's systems such as ERP, CRM etc.
- Liaise with prospective customers to develop technical specifications.
- Establish, register and continuously follow up on calculations, quotations or other documents needed to send an approved quote to customers.
- Continuous follow up, develop documentation of market information together with the company's service agents in cases where we have agents in the region.
- Be up to date with and follow relevant corporate practices.
- Actively contribute to the department's long-term efficiency and development through, for example, the work of its own department's meetings and conferences.
- Participate in and actively contribute to discussions on educational and development activities.

The ideal candidate:
- Previous experience within a similar position
- Good communication skills and the ability to build a quick rapport with clients
- Full UK Driving
- Experience within the Maintenance or Construction sector is desirable
