I have partnered with a company based in Maidstone who are looking to recruit an office administrator.
The purpose of the office administrator is to provide support to whole business in day to day running.
The day to day duties of the office administrator include:
Meeting and greeting clients, offering refreshments and assistance during their visit
Being the fire marshal and first aider for the office
Office Attendance sheets – keeping updated and scanned to file.
Booking meetings and updating the Company calendar
Answering, screening and forwarding phone calls.
Maintaining information on Company vehicles, chasing drivers for information, booking vehicle services as and when necessary responsible for TAX and MOT’s
Maintaining Dart Charge and Congestion Charge accounts and providing costing reports to Accounts
Preparing files and documentation for contracts
The ideal candidate skills and experience required for the Office Administrator include:
Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office and Microsoft packages
Previous work experience within an administrative role as well as reception
Construction background/knowledge is preferred not essential
Excellent Planning & Organisation Skills
High Attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Extra information for the office administrator role:
First aid and fire marshal courses will be provided
£23000 starting salary
Pension contribution
20 days holiday + bank holidays
Onsite parking
Monday – Friday
9am – 5pm (1 hour for lunch)
