Role: Experienced Press Toolmaker
Location: Gillingham, Kent
Salary: £30,000 - £32,000pa + Benefits

KHR is working with a leading manufacturing company who are currently recruiting for an Experienced Press Toolmaker to join their growing team in Gillingham, Kent.

This role would suit someone who has worked within a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is looking to take the next step in their career.

Duties:
- Maintain and service multi-stage press and form tools.
- Programming and use of CNC wire encoders ideally via CAD/CAM software.
- To manufacture parts for production and maintenance using typical engineering machines including spark erosion and cylindrical grinding.
- Ability to create and interpret engineering drawings and manufacture parts accordingly.
- Design and manufacture jigs and fixtures.
- Work with production staff to resolve technical tooling issues within a manufacturing environment.
- Maintain a safe working environment at all times.

Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in CAD Design would be desirable
- CNC Experience is essential
- Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment would be desirable but not essential
- Time served apprenticeship or HNC in relevant industry
- Wire erosion skills would be desirable but not essential
- Experience using press machines is essential
