Electrical Maintenance Shift Engineer
Medway (drivers with own transport only due to location)
Salary - £30k - 44k DOE + Overtime
Full time Permanent
Hours: Day and night shift (alternate weeks)
Days: Monday – Thursday 6am – 3.30pm, Friday: 6am – 4pm
Nights: (4 nights) Monday – Thursday: 6pm – 6am

Are you a Level 3 qualified Electrical Engineer with a background in Manufacturing/Engineering/Production?!

Our client is a well-established, successful business, looking for energetic, and qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineers to support their production process by looking after their equipment, carrying out all planned and preventative maintenance!

Duties include:
• Maintenance of all plant facilities, carrying out all planned and preventative maintenance, offering support with the implementation of engineering solutions and cost-effective repairs
• Working to exceed the downtime targets
• Managing and maintaining engineering stores including stock assessment and inventory levels
• Supporting other teams on site
• Ensuring plant and facilities are maintained to high standards
• Recording and reporting all work
• Ensuring all work complies with SHE guidelines
• Any other duties required

You will be / have:
• Some experience in a relevant role – post apprenticeship candidates considered!
• Qualified to NVQ Level 3 minimum in an Electrical discipline
• Either 17th or 18th edition wiring regulations qualification
• Previous exposure to PLC systems – Siemens or Allen Bradley preferred
• Able to work effectively in a team
• Able to use IT systems
