Reports to: Sales Director
Job Summary:
As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with assigned accounts. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets, identifying new sales opportunities, and creating long-term relationships with customers. You will work closely with the sales and marketing team to create sales strategies and campaigns that align with the company's overall goals.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned accounts
Meet or exceed sales targets by identifying new sales opportunities and upselling products/services to existing customers
Develop and implement sales strategies and campaigns that align with the company's overall goals
Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the market
Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to create sales collateral and campaigns
Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a timely manner
Keep up-to-date with industry developments and competitors
Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to management
Attend industry events and conferences to network and generate leads
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Sales Account Manager or similar role
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
Willingness to travel as needed (driving is essential)
