Local Friendly Kent based Engineering consultancy looking for Drainage Engineer.

We are a friendly, privately owned practice with a portfolio of over 15,000 projects.
We work on a wide range of projects, varying from small domestic extension and retaining wall s, to historic building refurbishments, to large scale residential developments, to multi-million pound commercial and educational developments .​We regularly undertake structural surveys of existing properties, and have specialist knowledge in the survey of historic and listed buildings.

Your new role

You would be working in a small friendly team, handling the Civils aspects of a range of projects from extensions and single properties up to housing estates, schools, industrial estates and more.
Office hours are normally 9.00AM to 5.30PM Monday to Friday

What you'll need to succeed

Essential experience:

* Undertaking design of the Civil & Drainage elements of developments (including level design).
* Proficient in the use of AutoCAD.
* Undertaking detailed drainage network modelling and simulation within MicroDrainage.
* Production of Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategy Reports.
* Obtaining permission for new sewer connections, build overs, and adoptions with local water authorities, and the production of the appropriate drawings and documents.
* Liaising with Clients, Contractors, and other professionals.

Useful experience:

* Experience of use of Site 3D software.
* Experience compiling making S278 applications to Local Authorities.
