Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join their dynamic and innovative team. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the development of next-generation automotive systems. This is a unique chance to shape the future of mobility and make a significant impact in the industry.
Duties include:
• Design, develop, and implement software solutions for automotive control systems, including embedded software and real-time applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, system engineers, and validation engineers, to define software requirements and ensure the successful integration of software components.
• Lead software development projects and provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Perform software testing and debugging to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and best practices.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends and evaluate their potential application in software development projects.
The successful candidate will have / be:
• Educated to a degree level in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a software engineer, with a focus on embedded systems or real-time applications.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++ and familiarity with software development tools and methodologies.
• Experience with automotive software development standards, such as AUTOSAR, ISO 26262, or MISRA, is highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of embedded software architectures and real-time operating systems.
• Knowledge of communication protocols commonly used in automotive systems, such as CAN, LIN, or Ethernet.
• Familiarity with model-based development tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink) and software testing methodologies is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
