Your new company
You will work for a professional manufacturing organisation as a Payroll Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with payroll experience looking to advance their career.
Your new role
* Calculating correct amounts of pay, deductions, overtime, bonuses and allowances
* Inputting data relating to weekly and monthly payments
* Adjusting SMP, SSP, pay rates, etc.
* Processing year-end reports
* Processing deductions for workplace pension contributions, income tax, NI
* Running reports to comply with RTI and producing P45s and other notifications
* Delivering information, data and forms for clients
* Ensuring client compliance with the pension regulator
* Daily communication with clients and HMRC
* Experience in CIS would be beneficial
What you'll need to succeed
* Proven experience in supporting payroll function
* Able to work independently and in a broader team environment.
* Previous experience processing payrolls for a company, payroll bureau or for a practice of accountants.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a competitive salary of up to £23,000 per annum.
