Our client in Canterbury are looking for a Support Coach with an immediate start!

Working for a local charity, you will be working directly with service users and assisting with their support needs.

The successful candidate will be people focused, compassionate, approachable and a positive communicator.

Experience working in social care, especially working with adults with challenging behaviour is a minimum requirement.



Main duties include:

* Supporting a caseload of service users with mixed levels of support needs.

* Assess service users needs.

* Support and coaching with housing related support such as debt management, living skills and budgeting.

* Identifying strengths in service users.

* Support clients to become integrated within their local community.



Skill set:

* Experience helping vulnerable people identify their personal goals.

* Managing complex and difficult situations in relation to people.

* A sound understanding of the issues faced by homeless or vulnerably housed people.

* Able to maintain accurate records with strong organisational skills.



Full-time with 37.5 hours a week on a rota basis between the hours of 08:00 and 22:30, working an 8 hour shift.

It is essential that you have a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
