Internal Salesperson / Assistant Depot Manager

Full time position for an Internal Salesperson / Assistant Depot Manager in Maidstone Kent, which provides various components and assemblies of Hose and Couplings through a busy trade counter to a long-established customer base.

The successful candidate will have the drive to succeed with good communication skills and have an interest in this industry.
The position will consist of developing the existing customer base and prospecting for new business, you would also assist the depot manager in a variety of duties as and when required from stock ordering to serving the trade counter which allows further opportunities to engage with existing customers and expand the business with them.

The successful candidate would also take on the role of running the depot in the absence of the depot manager, i.e., holidays etc.
Ideally, some knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics end fitting termination sizes and industrial hose and fittings however or a person with the willingness to learn and embrace the position would also be considered.

A basic understanding of Sage and the ability to use Microsoft 365 (outlook, excel and word mainly).

The salary package will be based on experience with a basic salary and profit-based monthly commission structure and company pension fund with 20 days plus bank holidays.
