We have an exciting opportunity for our global client who's UK site is based in Margate.

The role of Mechanical Assembly Operative is initially a temporary role but has great prospects to become a long-term permanent position for the right person. The permanent role comes with a number of perks such as additional annual leave, health-care plan and an appealing pension.



In the role you will be responsible for the assembly of a wide range of company products, working to defined time frames whilst ensuring quality standards are met.

Duties & Responsibilities

* Assembly of products ensuring quality standards are met along with agreed timescales
* Machine operation.
* Quality checks
* Packaging products
* Working to drawings and required specification

Person Specification

* Able to follow a process and read and understand drawings
* Team player who is self motivated and hard working
* Have good attention to detail and are dexterous
* Ideally be mechanically minded

Experience within an Assembly role is essential, preferably in a mechanical setting.

Paying £11.50 per hour initially, but after a period of 12 weeks the hourly rate will increase to £12.19.

This is a temporary role that requires an immediate start and offers full-time hours Monday to Friday covering early and late shift patterns; 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm. Weekly paid
