Project Manager – Building & Refurbishment
Location: Medway, Kent (projects across Kent and surrounding areas)

We are a small but growing building and refurbishment company based in Medway, and we're looking for a proactive and organised Project Manager to help lead and deliver our projects to the highest standard.
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with solid experience in managing building projects, who can take ownership of multiple jobs across Kent and occasionally beyond. You'll be working closely with the company director, subcontractors, clients, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
• Carrying out regular site inspections and overseeing day-to-day site activities
• Ensuring all works are carried out safely, in line with H&S regulations (SMSTS or SSSTS required)
• Managing subcontractors and coordinating their schedules
• Ordering materials, tracking deliveries and managing stock
• Monitoring progress against programme and budgets
• Preparing reports and applying for project variations when necessary
• Liaising with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
• Identifying and resolving issues quickly and efficiently
• Maintaining clear and accurate documentation across all projects
What We’re Looking For
• Proven experience in project management within the construction or refurbishment sector
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• SMSTS or SSSTS certification (essential)
• Strong understanding of construction processes and building regulations
• Ability to manage multiple jobs at different stages
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• IT literacy (for reporting, email, ordering materials etc.)
