The Role
An excellent opportunity for a highly competent Service & Repair Technician to join our Service & Repair Centre Team. The role is based at our Headquarters in Staplehurst, Kent, and provides support to our customers, both in the UK and across Europe.
In this position you will undertake troubleshooting, diagnostics, and reactive repairs on Veterinary specific devices such as, patient monitors, infusion devices, and patient ventilators as well as performing preventative maintenance inspections and routine servicing on end users’ equipment to ensure, performance reliability and compliance.
You will be responsible for accurately documenting all service and repair activities throughout the service lifecycle utilising our Company's ERP system whilst maintaining adherence to Departmental procedures, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and Company standards in all service deliveries. This will involve collaborating with cross-functional Teams, including engineering, assembly, and quality assurance, to address technical challenges and contribute to the development of effective solutions.
In addition, a key responsibility will be to coordinate closely with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and third-party suppliers to procure spare parts, technical manuals, and technical support as necessary.
Successful Candidate
We are looking for someone with hands-on experience or a strong interest in working as a Service & Repair Technician ideally within electronics engineering, biomedical technology, or a related field. A solid understanding of electronic circuits, mechanical systems, and software interfaces is highly advantageous.
The ideal candidate will bring a proactive mindset and be comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are important, as the role involves regular interaction with customers.

The Role Requires
• Ideally, 3+ years of hands-on experience in a Service & Repair Technician, Field Service Engineer role or equivalent practical experience gained through work, projects, or training
• Technical knowledge of electrical and electronic systems; formal qualifications (such as minimum Level 3 in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or similar) are desirable but not essential if you have relevant experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues
• Attention to detail with accurate data entry and documentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, problem-solving environment
• Effective time management and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A commitment to continuous learning, personal development, and adapting to new technologies and processes
The Package
• Starting Salary £37,356 per annum dependent on experience
• Full-time contract, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• 33 holiday days per year (inc. bank holidays)
