The Imaging Centre, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of digitally printed greeting cards, is seeking a high-performing Customer Account Manager to join our ambitious and customer-focused team. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional service while also driving new business opportunities — helping both our customers and The Imaging Centre grow in this unique, creative, and expanding industry.

About the Role
As a Customer Account Manager, you will be the key connection between The Imaging Centre and our valued clients — existing and new.
Your role will be split between:

• Account Management — nurturing and growing relationships with our current customer base, ensuring they receive outstanding service and tailored solutions.
• Business Development — actively seeking, researching, and converting new customers of all sizes — from startups launching their first range to established brands looking for a better way to bring their products to market.

You will have the confidence and initiative to engage prospects, identify their needs, and position The Imaging Centre as their perfect print partner. This is a role for someone who enjoys relationship-building, problem-solving, and has a commercial mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Account Management
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience at every touchpoint.
• Receive and process customer orders via our in-house booking system.
• Handle customer queries efficiently and professionally, in line with KPIs.
• Understand customer needs to offer tailored advice and solutions.
• Collaborate with suppliers to meet and exceed customer expectations.
• Resolve issues proactively and turn any complaints into positive outcomes.
• Become a product and service expert to provide informed recommendations.
• Support the retention and growth of existing accounts.
• Represent The Imaging Centre at trade shows, industry events, and in-house “In Press” days.

New Business Development
• Proactively research, identify, and engage prospective customers of all sizes.
• Develop strategies to approach potential clients — whether they are new to the market or seeking improved service.
• Confidently introduce The Imaging Centre’s offering and convert leads into long-term customers.
• Build strong relationships with newly onboarded clients, setting them up for success.
• Work closely with the Customer Service Manager and Senior Leadership to align business growth initiatives.

Commercial Awareness
• Monitor customer financial accounts to ensure healthy trading relationships.
• Contribute to achieving both individual and company sales targets.

Experience
• Previous account management, sales, or business development experience is desirable but not essential.
• A passion for customer service and a proactive approach to seeking new opportunities is key.
