An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a progressive and expanding accountancy practice based in South East Kent. Spurling Cannon is a multi-partner firm servicing a wide range of clients across the UK and Europe.

We are currently seeking a Payroll Junior or Payroll Clerk to join our busy payroll team. This is an interesting role within a fast-paced environment, where accuracy and efficiency are essential to delivering a comprehensive payroll service to our clients. Full training and ongoing support provided.

Applicants must have a minimum of 5 GCSE’s grades 4 and above (or equivalent)

Key Responsibilities:
• Assisting with the preparation and processing of client payrolls
• Ensuring compliance with current payroll legislation
• Handling payroll queries and liaising with clients
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation

• Ability to deal with people both face-to-face and over the telephone
• Hard working both practically and academically
• Self-driven, organised, and highly motivated
• Well presented
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally
