Our client runs a recycling comparison site - one of the biggest and best in the industry. Their platform allows customers to get the most value out of their old mobile phones and provide all the information they need to make the process as easy as possible.

As a software Developer in part of a growing team you will soon be making a significant impact to output in a relaxed, but highly-skilled environment with the opportunity to learn and grow with the company. The role
You’ll be joining our talented development team working to improving backend APIs primarily written in Python. The exact projects you will be working on are based on what you would like to try.

What you’ll be doing
Taking concepts and turning them into high-quality user experiences
Improving and optimising both user-facing and backend systems
Producing great code and a product you can be proud of
Reviewing other team member code

About You
Key skills
2-5 years of experience
Solid understanding of fundamental web technologies
Familiarity with RESTful services and APIs
Understanding of version control tools such as Git
Knowledge of SQL databases such as Postgres
Ability to work independently, identifying and solving issues

Other skills they’d love
Python
Docker, Kubernetes and GCP
Knowledge of Linux
