You will need to be dynamic, hard-working and enthusiastic, with excellent computer literacy. Responsibilities include:
- Analytics of stock availability and sales, working in advance to accurately order stock and stay on top of stock levels
- Supporting the Management team with accurate information to feed critical merchandising decisions
- Working closely with the finance team to raise purchase orders with suppliers within set budgets and time-frames
- Proactive engagement with our suppliers to ensure goods ship on-time
- Arranging consolidation of shipments between different suppliers.
- Ad-hoc data led business change projects
- Supporting the team with administrative duties
- Navigating and accurately managing data across our systems which include Dear Inventory Control, Capsule CRM and Xero
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Excellent Microsoft Excel Skills – including advanced formulas, and the ability to provide management information in a timely and accurate fashion
- 2-3 years experience in a merchandising environment
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Flexible and enthusiastic, with a can-do attitude
- A proactive nature, with a natural aptitude for solving problems and identifying areas for improvement
- Extremely diligent with attention to detail
- Commercially aware and thrives in a fast-paced role and a busy office environment
- An excellent multi-tasker, with good organisation skills with a keen eye for detail
- A real team player, willing to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in
This is a full time role however reduced hours may be considered for the right applicant
