Lead Developer (C#, ASP MVC, .NET CORE) - Maidstone/West Malling (Remote) - Up to £65,000 plus bonus & benefits
My client has an amazing opportunity for a Hands-on Senior/Lead Developer to join their very successful company that is rapidly growing. You will be the owner of the overall development of the company's in-house applications, facilitating new product builds and client integrations whilst mentoring a Junior Developer.
You will be given almost full autonomy to develop new and exciting ideas and concepts for the business. Other parts of the role will be maintenance and extension of existing code base and working with the product owner to meet business requirements.
This role is currently working from home with the view to continue working remotely with occasional office visits once things are back to normal.
Daily Duties
* Develop, test and implement new software programs within the business
* Continual improvement, refinement and creation of new products
* Maintenance of the in-house systems, applications and integrations
* Create and maintain manuals and other documentation for all in-house software
* Participate in peer reviews with solution designs
* Management and development of Junior Developers
* Working closely with stakeholders to troubleshoot system and product issues to implement long term fixes
Skillset Required
* Proven background as a Senior/Lead Developer
* Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and motivate junior members of the team
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong experience managing projects which will include resource management
* NET, .NET Core MVC
* HTML, XML, CSS and JSON
* MS SQL
* Entity Framework
Desirable Skills
* Angular 7+
* PostgreSQL
* MSc or Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics
