HR & Payroll Administrator Assistant

(UP TO 25K DOE + Day Release for CIPD)



This is a HR & Payroll Administrator Assistant role for a leading manufacturing company based in Maidstone. The overall purpose of the position is to help support the Senior Management Team by providing an efficient and ordered administration for HR and payroll. The role will also include support and holiday cover for HR Department.



HR/Payroll

To assist with the following duties:

* Keep all employee information up to date, recording holidays, absences and key dates, as well as salary and pensions details, generating reports and reminders as necessary.
* Collate, calculate, record and verify hours and pay for all staff (be they hourly paid or salaried). Process leavers and adjust pay and holiday entitlement where necessary, updating employee records.
* Administration and maintenance of holiday entitlement and sickness, recording and updating employee holiday and absence records, generating reports as requested and make payment or deductions as and when necessary.
* Action the Payroll from verified information, checking calculations and producing monthly payroll journals and reports ready for input to the accounts package and to assist with the reporting of management information.
* Check all new starter, leaver and any other forms and correspondence, including changes to pay, to ensure accuracy and Entering these details onto the payroll system, ensuring information is recorded accurately and filed in HR files and with HMRC.
* Maintain employee pension records ensuring they are up to date and accurate, and that contributions are paid over to the relevant scheme when
* Keep the business' legal obligations regarding legislative updates, physical and electronic data security and employee law/regulations up-to-date and
* Regular liaison/communication with Senior Management team, Internal Sales and Operations teams and applicable BPIF, legal and HR advisors as
* Assisting with HR duties, preparing contracts, taking minutes, producing letters to employees.
* Keeping HR information GDPR Compliant.
* Provide input to make improvements to systems and/or procedures which would help improve the efficiency of our HR records and reporting functions.
