We are supporting a global manufacturing business as they look to recruit a HR Manager for their site in Broadstairs.
This is a fantastic time to join this organisation who are a highly reputable employer in the East Kent area, this is an ideal role for a HR Manager who is keen to develop the existing HR Team as well as manage the day to day function of the HR team.
The business is undergoing changes and are looking for someone to join them who is dynamic, and motivated, an inclusive HR Manager who can support the changes within the business and look to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to continually develop and improve the HR systems.
About you
* Ideal applicants will be CIPD Level 5 qualified but if applicants have demonstrable HR experience then Qualified By Experience will also be considered
* Ideally you will be from a manufacturing background however this is not essential
* Excellent HR Generalist experience with an in-depth knowledge of complex ER (dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, absenteeism etc)
* 5 years' experience within a similar HR role (either as Senior Advisor or Manager)
* Proven experience in supporting and developing change management
* Previous experience of managing a small team (desirable not essential)
The role:
* HR project management - manage and facilitate HR related projects from start to completion
* Support the recruitment function (writing JD's, preparation for interviews, managing the interview process, liaison with recruitment partners both internally and externally)
* Creating, managing and continuously reviewing HR policies, practises, strategies and procedures
* Providing ongoing support to the HR team.
* Be an advocate and driving force in support the cultural changes and HR initiatives across the business.
* Manage the ER casework as well as the management of talent and succession planning.
This role will be office based, you may be required to travel to other sites across the UK, you will be afforded a competitive salary, 26.5 days holiday (+ 8 bank holiday) plus annual (profit related) bonus and a number of other incentive schemes, hours of work Monday-Friday 08.30-17.00
