A rare opportunity has arisen in a long established logistics company based in Maidstone for a permanent Transport Team Leader working in the Transport Department.
You should hold an HGV Class 2 Driving Licence and have experience of driving vocationally.
You will be responsible for managing drivers across the Transport Operation working as part of the management team dealing with legal compliance, route planning, warehouse duties, tachographs, driver debriefs, health and safety and driving regulations. You will be working in a team of four, on a rota basis covering five shifts each week Monday to Sunday.
To be successful you will need to be proactive, results and deadline driven as well as a confident communicator and capable of leading a team. You should be organised, IT literate and looking for a career.
